Gibsons Training reverses the normal order of things. Gibsons believes one size does not fit all. Gibsons does not rely on pre-packaged training materials which may or may not meet the needs of the business or the individual worker. Every training contract is developed for that client, in that environment with particular outcomes and goals in mind.

How does it work?

As the client, you tell us what you want to achieve and for whom. This is likely to be a particular business skill set, outcome or change that the business requires for an individual or group of workers. Gibson’s will design a specific training solution to meet your needs and will link the outcomes back to the national training packages to provide the worker with the relevant qualification or recognition.  All nationally recognised training requires rigorous assessment to measure competency. Gibson’s will work with you to develop assessments which reflect the reality of your workplace, reflect the learning styles of your workers and meet the national standards. 

What you won’t get

Gibson’s won’t give you an off-the-shelf solution. 
We won’t give you or your workers a book to work through and fill in.  
We won’t make a square peg business need fit a pre-determined round hole training solution.

For workers who are already skilled or partially skilled.

The Gibsons Recognition of Prior Learning strategy reflects our training delivery strategy. We work with you to find workplace specific ways to measure the current level of competency of your worker. Then we link the outcomes back to the national training packages to provide the worker with the relevant qualification or recognition. Where skill gaps exist we will identify them and develop a plan of how develop those skills.
