Educated in Australia Lesley has lived and worked in PNG and has worked in numerous remote locations throughout Australia. On returning to Australia she joined the Dept of Social Security and moved into senior managerial roles managing 200+ staff responsible for service delivery to people living across a major part of Far North Queensland. This period provided the opportunities to develop strong connections with indigenous and remote communities and to develop the long term relationships she continues to enjoy. Moving to Brisbane Lesley took up roles within Social Security which allowed her to utilise her skills in developing strategies and services which responded to the rapidly changing face of Australia. Working largely independently she introduced new and innovative services and developed the governance systems to support them.
In 1990 Lesley moved into consulting taking up a contract with Jobnetwork and developing a career development arm to her business management coaching services. Known for her ability to provide the fresh ideas and insight many businesses and managers needed her scope grew to provide services from FNQ to Brisbane. In 1995 a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) was added to the business. From 1990 Lesley has been applying her 20+ years of experience across a diverse range of business into the consulting sphere. She specialises in providing strategic, long term visionary input and to asking the hard questions that sometimes need to be asked to clarify how the future will unfold. Lesley has provided executive and manager coaching and mentoring to government and private enterprise organisations and provides similar support to SMEs and the community sector. She has made significant contributions to indigenous health projects, to managing organisational change and to development of innovative tools to assist organisations in transition.
