Atlas, a Heavy Engineering Company, was established in 1985 and is today a leader in innovation through the design, engineering and manufacture of quality attachments, custom designed to our customers’ needs. We pride ourselves on innovating engineering solutions for our customers – superior products that work. Our products are used across many industries including construction, quarries, demolition, forestry and mining. Atlas also carries out heavy fabrication and welding to in-house or customer design.
We engaged with Gibsons Consulting & Marketing Services over two years ago.
At the time we were successful and profitable – market leaders in the markets we operate.
However, we wanted to grow significantly over a short period of time and we needed to transition our business from a successful medium-sized enterprise to a highly successful, well managed corporate enterprise.
We recognised that we needed assistance to achieve that, and we did that by –
- Formulating a clear vision.
- Developing robust plans that support that vision.
- Building strength in our people to effectively implement those plans and build a stronger business.
- Managing and implementing change through robust systems and processes and quality people, and
- Support and strengthen our customer base.
Gibsons have supported us through every phase and continue to do so. It has been difficult at times. Change needs to be embraced at all levels in the organisation and the process has challenged us in many different ways. We are by no means finished. We are in the early stages of a long journey of constant improvement. However, our vision is now starting to emerge. Change is beginning to shape our business and Gibsons have made a real difference in that transition.
